Fred Lynn Appearance: Fanfest and Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game

Fred Lynn will be signing autographs during Fanfest at Target Field in Minnesota.  He will be signing free autographs Saturday, July 12 and doing a Q & A with fans.  On Sunday,  July 13, Fred will be playing in the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game.  Watch him there at the Stadium or on ESPN.

Fred Lynn Named Top Centerfielder for the All-Fenway Team

On September 26, 2012, in celebration of 100 years for the Boston Red Sox, fans voted to name the All-Fenway Team. That team consisted of 12 players and a manager. Fred Lynn was voted by the fans as the greatest centerfielder in Red Sox history. Other members of the All-Fenway Team starting lineup were Carlton Fisk, Wade Boggs, Nomar Garciaparra, Jimmie Foxx, Dustin Pedroia, Ted Williams, Pedro Martinez, Lefty Grove, Dwight Evans, and Jonathan Papelbon/ Terry Francona was the manager. Fred Lynn was present for the ceremonies at Fenway Park.  Congratulations to Fred Lynn. What an honor.

Fred Lynn asks San Diegans to join him to Save the Lives of Local Pets

San Diego, CA- The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) and retired professional baseball player Fred Lynn are proud to introduce the iSweat4Pets™ Dog Walk that is uniting animal-lovers and fitness fans to raise funds for family pets needing life-saving medical care.
FACE is thrilled to have Fred as their celebrity spokesperson. Fred Lynn was the first player to receive the prestigious awards of MVP and Rookie of the Year in a single season. He was also a San Diego Padre, which is sure to resonate proudly with the San Diego community. “The FACE Foundation is my personal charity,” states Lynn, “I really believe in the important work they do in our community, saving pets and helping families. I hope that all San Diego animal lovers will support iSweat4Pets. Get out there and take a walk with your dog, get sponsored by friends and family and help save a life! I will be there taking photos and signing autographs from 12:00 to 1:00. Please stop by and say hello!”
The iSweat4Pets™ Dog Walk is being held at the beautiful San Dieguito County Park on Saturday, October 27th. Registration opens at 10:00am and the event ends at 1:00pm. This unique dog walk will feature a variety of trails for every fitness level and a lively vendor village. Even furry couch potatoes are encouraged to attend. It’s Halloween weekend, so don’t be afraid to dress up Fido! Join San Diego pet-lovers and their furry friends for this fun, dog-friendly festivity. If you can’t make the walk, don’t worry, you can still fundraise and be a virtual walker.
