FredLynn.net and Fred Lynn have been raising money and donating time to Child Haven of Southern Nevada.  Child Haven is a home for neglected and abused children and needs privately donated funds to help over 120+ children.      TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED TO DATE: $10,150!

Fredlynn.net delivered over $450 worth of toys and $85 worth of cash donations to Child Haven on December 22, 2008.

WHAT IS CHILD HAVEN?

Child Haven provides temporary care and treatment for abused, neglected and abandoned children, ages 3 days to 18 years.  The Child Haven campus consists of 6 cottages, activity and school centers, and administration buildings. Children are assigned a cottage based on their age and sex. The cottages have a capacity of housing 12 children each, except for the infant cottage, which has a capacity for 20 infants. A safe and secure home-like environment is maintained by Child Development Specialists. Child Haven contracts with licensed shelter homes in the community because the number of children requiring protective custody usually exceeds bed space on campus.
   

 

HOW DOES FREDLYNN.NET HELP CHILD HAVEN?

FredLynn.net have been raising funds to help build up and rebuild the athletic side of Child Haven.  All funds donated through FredLynn.net go directly to purchasing Baseball, Softball, and Football equipment for the sports fields at Child Haven.

 

EXAMPLES OF FREDLYNN.NET AT WORK

Darrin Ginsberg donated $1500 to have Dinner with Fred Lynn.  Thank you Ginsberg family.

Tri-Star Productions donates $500 for a Fred Lynn Appearance.

Disney donates $1000 to Child Haven in the name of Fred Lynn for appearing at the premiere of "The Rookie".

For Christmas 2007, Fredlynn.net purchased $950 worth of great toys for the children on Child Haven so they could have gifts to open up Christmas morning.  The children received gifts ranging from Transformers to Hannah Montana, from wrestling to Spiderman and Barbie.  It was a blast to shop for those kids.

For Christmas 2008, Fredlynn.net purchased $450 worth of new toys for the children of Child Haven.  We also left them with $85 in cash donations.  That brought our total donations over the past 6 years to over $10,000.  Thank you all for your support.
